I’m a bioinformatician and have been working in research science for over 15 years. I’ve previously worked in industry as a bench scientist, in 2007 I returned to graduate school at Carnegie Mellon University where I completed my Master’s degree in Computational Biology. After working in research for some time after that, I continued on to finish my PhD in Biomedical Sciences focusing in bioinformatics at Drexel University.
I worked my way from a Research Instructor, to Assistant Professor, and finally to Director of Clinical and Translational Medicine at Drexel University from 2013-2024. Currently I’m working on developing training programs to help prepare others on their journey in and through research using Bioinformatics.
